Members JAYBLK Posted July 4, 2015 Members Posted July 4, 2015 Im excited to visit the saunas in Brazil as the idea of shopping before you purchase appeals to me. Are there websites whose escort photos are more or less reliable? What is usually the protocol for bringing a guy back to your hotel..both with respect to the guy and the hotel? Thank you all for the helpful advice! I promise to post reviews of my trip. lookin 1 Quote
Badboy81 Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 If you are in Rio, just go to the saunas....it's easier, cheaper and less time consuming....Some of the guys online as escorts are already in the saunas and you get a huge variety to choose from in case you see him in person and aren't 100% into it..... Just go to the saunas and skip the inviting guys to your hotel unless you have veted him already.... 117 in Gloria has been particuarly lively and consistent with quality as well as quanity.... lookin and JAYBLK 2 Quote

TotallyOz Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 You never know what you will get. My philosophy is try everywhere. Personally, I love the saunas. I find 99 percent of my guys there. But, I have picked up a few from clubs, restaurants and the net. Here is one I met online years back. He was one one of the Sao Paulo escort sites. He stayed with me a week. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4502-one-of-my-favorite-male-escorts-in-brazil/?hl=christian#entry79254 lookin 1 Quote

The other one is also very good. In Salvador, there are some saunas but they are a bit more similar to Meio Mundo in appearance and in very rough parts of town. I would suggest that the guide goes with you. I know others will not agree but I felt better having my driver wait for me. JAYBLK 1 Quote
Members JAYBLK Posted July 5, 2015 Author Members Posted July 5, 2015 You had a driver wait outside the whole time you visited a sauna? What did that cost? Im a big Black American. That usually means that I am not the easiest target available, though in most parts of the world, Im easily identifiable as a tourist. Quote

As someone pointed out in another thread, the cars are not expensive and I would normally hire a driver for the day or the night. I'd have them tour me around and spend time with me and take me wherever I wanted. In my thread here on Salvador, I think I listed my driver information but it has been a few years. I truly loved Salvador. I'm easily identifiable as a tourist as well. The drive did not mind waiting and when I didn't find a guy, he would ask if I wanted to try another one. He knew what I was looking for. JAYBLK 1 Quote

Thank you all for the helpful advice! I promise to post reviews of my trip. Sao Paulo saunas = (1) Lagoa (usually and depending on what type guy you like), this place often has extremely great nights with lots of garotos. Occasionally, the sauna has a weak night (fraco) where you will find only a handful of garotos. It is difficult to predict which nights will be good and which will be slow. Usually (not always) Wednesday and Friday are the best nights for Lagoa. Here is its website - http://www.thermaslagoa.com.br/ (2) Fragata (usually busiest on Tuesday and Sunday night). You will like the place depending on the type of garoto you seek. I have found that USUALLY the best nights are Tuesday and Sunday. Here is its website - http://www.termasfragata.com.br/ Salvador = There are a few saunas in Salvador but I visit only Planetario 11. I have not been there often enough to determine the slow and/or busiest nights. I have never been disappointed by a fraco night in Salvador. Here is its web site - http://www.planetario11.com.br/ In Sao Paulo, there is Metro access to the saunas, therefore, it is not necessary to take a taxi unless you prefer that way of getting around. In Salvador, I have always used a taxi as I have not been there many times and did not learn the local transportation system. With respect to bringing a garoto back to your hotel, I suggest you offer a little more information about what you expect before you get recommendations about an all-night guest. I have been to Brazil many times and I get to know the garotos fairly well. I have developed a sort of "sixth sense" about who is trustworthy for spending the night and who is not. If you were to invite a garoto you do not know well to spend the night with you, you could very well be disappointed, or more. On the other hand, if you are adventurous, you could have a great time. Another factor about taking a garoto to your hotel is that most Brazilian hotels do not allow visitors to a guests' room. There are ways around this. If you have any other question about visiting Brazil, just ask away. Boa viagem! lookin, JAYBLK and axiom2001 3 Quote
Members JAYBLK Posted July 5, 2015 Author Members Posted July 5, 2015 Thank you so much! Can you tell me more about getting around the prohibition on guests at hotels? I wasnt thinking about an overnight stay. Rather I had in mind a brief encounter in a more comfortable and controlled setting. mvan1 1 Quote

I wasnt thinking about an overnight stay. Rather I had in mind a brief encounter in a more comfortable and controlled setting. Suggestion: Next time you venture out to a country, read what has been posted on this and other sites. A lot has been written about hotels allowing, and for the most part, not allowing guests. The Copacabana Atlantico for almost eight or nine years would allow locals in the rooms of the guests. A few years later, the administration began to charge a fee. Currently, I do not know its policy. But, as far as hotels in general, guests are not allowed. I write based on my previous reading of threads here which are now in the archives. The best way to avoid the hassle of having guests is to rent an apartment. I've done this in Berlin, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, and during my last visit to Rio de janeiro in 2011, my good friend and I rented and shared, and I had a couple of guests without any difficulties at all. Again, ask before leaving the States, and someone or many ones will respond. I know I've asked and have received, and I have given salient advice as well. Continue to enjoy yourself; continue to keep your "big head" and remain "SAFE!" Badboy81 and JAYBLK 2 Quote

I wasn't thinking about an overnight stay. Rather I had in mind a brief encounter in a more comfortable and controlled setting. In a few days I will make my 125th trip to Brazil. My many visits there have taught me much, including how to avoid the rules most hotels have about not allowing visitors (garotos) to a guest room. First, at some hotels, it is not going to happen. At others, it can and does happen, depending on several factors. I need to know which hotels you plan to visit before I can offer suggestions how to get visitors to your room. Quote

It's full of hot, hot escorts which match your description in one of your previous threads. ...don't know if any of the guys speak any English. There's only one in Salvador who advertises. ...lots and lots in Rio de janeiro and in Sao Paulo. If you manage to hire Danilo as a guide, and if you're interested, have him contact the guy or guys of your desiring! I have a friend/guide in Buenos Aires to do the preceding for me although he did not particularly like doing it. He never said anything to me about it; I think he spoke to others who, at the time, read and wrote at this site. Any way-- it NEVER hurts just for asking! Quote
