Sammy's Restaurant - Sunee Plaza - Closes

The story I'm getting is that new people have taken over the building and Erich has lost the lease as a result. I understand he is looking for somewhere new he can open, but he has not yet been able to find anything.

 

I certainly hope he is able to reopen. His restaurant is one of my favorites.

When you say new people have taken ocer the building do you mean that the Marina has been taken over? Wasn't Sammy leasing from the Marina?

Today I was told that Erich has made some sort of a deal with the Up-2-You bar in Sunee Plaza and should be able to start serving food there some time within a week. Great! I wish Erich well in his latest enterprise and I hope all goes well for him.

That is correct. From what I have been told, Erich had a verbal "handshake" agreement, but nothing was on paper. I don't know why whoever makes the decisions decided to force Erich out, but for whatever reason, that's what happened.
