Indiana's New Anti Gay Law

Well wasnt that your intention when you outted her in your Glutes-worthy thread ? One could have interpretted that thread of yours as a manifistation of YOUR anger. So perhaps you need to take your own advice ? People here are Very quick to give advice but tend to think they are immune and dont need to follow it....

Sometimes you just need to let go of the anger - go outside - and see what's really happening in the real world.

Not everything which people might say - requires such hate.

Well wasnt that your intention when you outted her in your Glutes-worthy thread ?

Umm. No. Hate had nothing to do with it - and seemingly, MsAnn is taking this better than you are - as he (she?) is at least making fun of his herself, now self-identifying him her self as Sybil.

Lighten up Suckrates - not every response to others needs to be so full of vitriol to get your point across when you disagree with them - even though you might feel that way.

And truthfully, Suckrates, Had I believed that my one post here would have been soooooo revealing about this - I would have thought twice. I seemingly (Ok, badly) considered it unspoken knowledge and acceptance.

GOP Mayor of Indianapolis Issues Executive Order Defending Gay Rights

http://gawker.com/gop-mayor-of-indianapolis-issues-executive-order-protec-1694684520

"...many states with an RFRA, including neighboring Illinois, also have statewide bans on discrimination based on sexual orientation, alongside other protected classes such as race, sex and religion.

Indiana has no such protections. And it explicitly prohibits local human rights ordinances from being exempt from the RFRA."

So there is nothing wrong with the law, it's just that everyone has misinterpreted it incorrectly? Of course the media is to blame for all of this. Of course they are. Indiana now has a major image problem on their hands, as major corporations and sports franchises have sent the governor strongly worded letters expressing their concerns.

I also loved Steven King's response:

@StephenKing

Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration act is gay discrimination, pure and simple. You can frost a dog turd, but it's still a dog turd.

As for this thread, I love the topic but hate personal attacks. Please stick to the topic.

HA!....That quote deserved more than a "Like"... I think we will all know by weeks end how the legislature frosts the turd.

Speaking as a Democrat, goody.

GOP 2016 contenders agree: Indiana's 'religious freedom' law is just that

Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Bobby Jindal pile on in support of controversial law they say includes the right to discriminate against LGBT Americans

Republican presidential hopefuls may be seeking to distinguish themselves, but contenders from the moderate establishment favorite Jeb Bush to the social-conservative evangelist Ted Cruz seem to agree on the hard-right controversy of the week: religious freedom includes the right to discriminate against the LGBT community...

The Arkansas governor's own son urged him not to sign the controversial 'religious freedom' law

Even Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson's ® received a rather personal objection to the state's controversial "religious freedom" legislation. When Hutchinson announced on Wednesday that he would not sign the bill in its current form, he cited...

"My son, Seth, signed the petition asking me, Dad, the governor, to veto this bill. And he gave me permission to make that reference,"

Just heard on the local San Francisco news station that Bush is here trying to raise money and Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.com and a power-donor, cornered him and made him see the light.

Until now, I thought Benioff donated only to Democrats but, apparently, not so.

Good to know that Bush's 'principles' seem to be within Benioff's budget.
