Members RA1 Posted February 19, 2015 Members Posted February 19, 2015 There are a lot of things I would choose to "regrow or start over with" before my long gone foreskin. Liver, heart, lungs, etc. etc. are among them. Even my "regular" skin would come before my foreskin. Best regards, RA1 numerito, MsGuy and AdamSmith 3 Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 I have long thought that the first use of cloning should be to grow a copy of myself from which to harvest replacement organs as needed. Whether to give it a brain is a bit of a conundrum. However, as I possess very little that AdamSmith Rev2 could possibly covet in return -- what, me worry?! Quote
Members RA1 Posted February 19, 2015 Members Posted February 19, 2015 So far as I can determine, clones (with or without brains) don't seem to be very successful. It seems that even though the cells are new, the DNA "memory" is at some unknown mid-point. In other words, they die young. Best regards, RA1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Even so, assuming I could keep my clone off smokes and the bottle + trot it around the block every couple days, it would be some way ahead of me. RA1, lookin and MsGuy 2 1 Quote
Members RA1 Posted February 19, 2015 Members Posted February 19, 2015 Well, if you would lead the "trot" there might be two "better" bodies. Best regards, RA1 MsGuy and AdamSmith 2 Quote
Members MsGuy Posted February 19, 2015 Members Posted February 19, 2015 Ouch...+1 for RA1, Adam. And he did it while politely passing over your first two assumptions. Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 19, 2015 Author Posted February 19, 2015 Did you see me raise any objection? I know when to roll over and take it. Quote
Members MsGuy Posted February 20, 2015 Members Posted February 20, 2015 Don't forget to lube up first. AdamSmith 1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 (Although I sort if enjoy taking it dry. ) ...Didn't Joan Rivers have some joke about a woman thinking she was using vaginal spray when it was actually Spray-Mount? Quote
Members RA1 Posted February 20, 2015 Members Posted February 20, 2015 Not sure how to use either one. Best regards, RA1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 Somehow we got Duck Butter in this thread and the Peabody Hotel in the other thread... ...don't quite know how to use this one either. But looks like fun! Quote
Members RA1 Posted February 20, 2015 Members Posted February 20, 2015 You might be interested to know that the ducks have to be "rotated" away from the hotel so they can "dry out". Seems that staying in water all that time is not good for even ducks. But, you knew too much water is not good for anyone, didn't you? Best regards, RA1 AdamSmith 1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 "...we had to survive for days on nothing but food and water!" W.C. Fields Didn't know that about ducks. I've stayed at the Peabody Orlando, never at the original one. In fact my old company held some conferences at the Peabody Orlando, where they went on and on about the ducks but never mentioned that. Root causes of aging, telomeres etc, are not remotely understood. But I think serious progress is just about near. Like the physics breakthroughs of the 1910s-1950s. We shall see. Quote

If my foreskin were to ever re-grow I would need another circumcision. Quote
