Singer Lesley Gore, best known for her 1963 single It's My Party, has passed away. The 68-year-old died of cancer at New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Monday. The pop star came onto the scene when she was only 17 years old and spawned four Top Five hits including She's A Fool and You Don't Own Me. Gore — who graduated from Sarah Lawrence College — was also an actress, starring in the 1967 Batman series as the character of Pussycat MsAnn and TotallyOz 2 Quote
