Members MsGuy Posted December 23, 2014 Members Posted December 23, 2014 As I read it, states holding a Republican primary prior to March 15 must award delegates proportionally to the vote. That makes rolling up a decisive lead in the delegate count difficult, doesn't it? Plus effectively organizing 5 separate states at the same time puts a lot of stress on manpower and finances, factors that favor an establishment candidate. ihpguy 1 Quote
AdamSmith Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Much to what you say. But somewhat on the other hand, that kicker in the article -- "It will be very difficult for a candidate who does not win in one of the first four states to survive until March as a viable contender." P.S. Sorry, I misread that completely. Disregard. Without even having started on the eggnog! Quote
