Poetry Brothel puts the bawd in bard

The lit'ry kind, evidently.

Happy endings just don't seem to make good art most of the time. The great Paradise Lost has, when you look at it, Satan as its (anti-, but not really) hero, whereas Paradise Redeemed is only slightly more readable than the Book of Mormon ("chloroform in print" -- Mark Twain).

And so forth, and so on.

Paradise Redeemed, a Harlequin novel? Couldn't resist researching this. Just the kind of semi-froth one might expect; Eve pursued by Adam, a bar named Original Sin, a bakery named Forbidden Fruit, etc.

Possibly not up to anyone's standards.

I am only slightly averse to blank verse, heroic couplets and free verse. ^_^
