Twice a year, we have a safe-disposal drive for not only toxic pharmaceuticals, but also for such things as old PC's which contain mercury, lead, bromine, chromium and other environmentally toxic chemicals.

When you sit back and think about what you're throwing away, how you're throwing it away and where it ends up - it becomes chilling as this article describes.

Out of sight might mean out of mind for you - but like everything else, the mindless, lazy and ill-informed actions of humans against our planet will someday come home to roost for us all.
