Members BigK Posted August 19, 2014 Members Posted August 19, 2014 Well, I've recorded it. I must admit though, that I'm a little less interested with Larry Hagman gone. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 It's still one of the best stories on TV and the writing is amazing. They've given John Ross enough of JR's attributes that you are reminded of JR in every episode. Quote
TotallyOz Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I loved JR. But, Judith Light's character is far more devious, sinister and revolting. I understood JR. I knew his game plan. This new bitch is just the spawn of Satan! Love the show and loved the first episode of this season. I also missed JR! Quote

TotallyOz Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Judith Light's character is inspired. Spawn of Satan...I love it! In just one night, she was able to partially destroy a marriage and to also turn her granddaughter into a move evil bitch. Plus, she said some nasty things to her son. Spawn of Satan was me being very kind. Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I can't believe they would kill off Christopher Ewing (in last nights cliff hanger). Surely he made it out of that car or someone else got in instead of him. Or maybe Pam was dreaming again. . . Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I've been re-watching the original Dallas over the last few weeks and I just saw the very famous cliff hanger where Pam finds Bobby in the shower after she dreams the entire season. This is now ranked #3 as one of the most unforgettable and shocking TV episodes of all time. Quote
Guest callipygian Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 #SaveDallas LOL! I too was very disappointed with this news. However, when you split a season in half the way they did this time around and have 3-4 months between the first and second half, you lose your audience. Not to mention the momentum the show had. Dallas has always been a show with a lot of twists and turns and it's easy to get behind or lost in the story-line with such a lengthy intermission. This is on the TNT execs as much as anything. Bring it to FOX! Quote

Guest EXPAT Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 The Dallas producers have been meeting with CBS this week since CBS is looking for more summer series to fill their schedule and this would be a perfect 15 episode summer season. And I agree that they shouldn't have split the season. Quote
