Perseid meteors peak tonight

The annual Perseid meteor shower, the year's best other than the comparably rich and bright Geminid shower every December, peaks tonight.

The radiant of the Perseid Meteor Shower is high in the sky by 11 p.m. for observers at mid-northern latitudes.
