Daddy's Site Dead

Isn't it interesting how many of us react differently to the same person. I have participated on Daddy's since the time when Hooboy was alive and running the site. Not once in all of those years have I had a problem with Deej. To me, at least, he has ALWAYS been professional, polite, and helpful.

I've NEVER had a problem either, and I've been there as long as you. I appreciate what you wrote!

As long as you realize Deej is never wrong, you won't have any problems with him.

The first week the site comes back up will be insufferable, with the begging for $$$$ and ass kissing.

I find many of these posts NOT to be in keeping with the intent or in the spirit of the initial thread! If you [personally] have or have had problems with "Daddy" and/or deej or any other individuals connected to http://www.daddysreviews.com, why not keep it to yourselves and MOVE On! Do you consider yourselves "mature, older adults?" Why the bitchiness [in words] and the disrespectful visuals, etc.? Why the personal attacks? What has been gained or accomplished?

Does the manner in which you've responded here make you a better person? It certainly has NOT enhanced or answered the initial query which was posted!

I found those postings to be tasteless and disrespectful! So before posting all of that unnecessary "shit" on the originator's thread, please rethink and let by gones be by gones. Go to "the other site" as some of you refer or NOT! If one cannot cite something that is UPLIFTING and Beneficial, then why ruin another's thread? [The thread did NOT warrant a lot of negative discourse or quasi satire!]

...WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION that this SITE would be DEVOID of all of the negativity that at times has existed at http://www.daddysreviews.com, a site which I've gone to since 1998 or '99. [i am glad that I have not been involved in all of that tit- for- tat silliness and bitchiness ever!

Right.

In this tread? Really? You see this as the worst in people? Honestly? Truly? Really?

But, the sites rely on content that is given by others and those others are your shareholders and they deserve to be in the loop.

I honestly thought this tread was very kind in its treatment of the issues Daddy is having. I did see a few posts which pushed the boundaries but they were only a few. There were many posts which were silly and meant to be funny and I see no issue with those at all.

This thread has gotten over 10 Reports and requests for me to close it based on: "we should not allow discussion of the other site here."

That is absurd. As I have said, few threads here are ever deleted and they have to be over the top for anyone to delete them. This one does not broach that threshold yet. I realize that some see any discussion of Daddy as a negative discussion as he does not have his supporters here to blow sunshine up our ass. However, this thread is open. Blow sunshine away. I have praised Daddy in the past and I wish him well during his hospital stay and his server issues. I do find it all slightly comical that no one should be allowed to talk about it though.

And, if others did not roll on the floor laughing at the meat grinder photo, you may need to have your funny bone checked.

OZ, I respectfully commend you on your decision to keep the thread open. Its ridiculous and ludicrous for people to ask to censor a thread simply because they dont like or agree with whats being said. I have always respected the openness of this site to allow people to speak their minds. I realize people like ME can sometimes push the limits, but its only because we are passionate about the things we discuss. As for my opinion of Daddys situation, well we all know I have bad history there, so I have no interest or compassion for Daddy or his problems. He treated me poorly simply because the members who were funding him made him do so.

And since I am told that I am a person who always needs to have "the Last word"....

Axiom, while you and I are often "compadres", we are obviously NOT in agreement here and your reprimanding tone is somewhat upsetting.

I am very glad that you have no issues or ax to grind, with Daddy, his site or his members, and those "calm waters" have obviously driven your commentary here. However, if you were a person who had issues, or was treated poorly or disrespectfully, you would certainly want to address them with an audience to listen, and websites such as these provides us with an audience. While it is not necessarily about gaining support or changing minds, sometimes you just need an outlet to get things off your mind.

And while I am not here to challenge your opinion, I am also not here to take your advice. While I have always respected your opinion, its simply that: YOUR OPINION. And while I give you the respect, you should in turn reciprocate that.

You also always the the option of blocking my posts if they disturb you. It was never my intention to do that...

Always,

Suck.

Oh my Oz you should be careful making a quick judgement based on online personality.. ^_^ All those girls put on make up and nice dresses, and act cute and sweet for a good reason! Once they have you as their own in public through marriage all the nagging and criticism start. If you can't believe me let's have a fabulous wedding and live together for a year... You might ban me from the site..^_^

" I love those shoes thank you for the lovely pictures ( before marriage)"

" You don't know anything about my style.. (After marriage)"

Years later I still find it amazing that mature men get so riled up over escort website name calling. My take is simple - I find Daddy, Deej and the rest of his ilk laughable, controlling and overly dramatic, yet very entertaing at times. It's like the nerd table at lunch - yammering on, telling on people, and then cowering in the end; they're just older, bigger and more bitter now. I of course wish Daddy a full recovery, as I would anyone that never damaged me in a real way. I spend more time feeling for the Palestinians, etc. than I do Daddy, but I wish him a speedy recovery, perhaps a bit selfishly, as I can't wait to read the sycophantic "Daddy, Daddy, we were so worried" threads - they're often worth popping corn.

Worth remembering, I think, that Daddy's still fighting an illness that could have done him in. If he takes it easy and focuses on his health instead of his website for a little while longer, we should all be OK.

As long as we continue to enjoy OZ's hospitality and try to keep ourselves entertained.

When I find I'm a gay who's gray and lonely
I just chuck up my chin and grin and say....
The site'll come up tomorrow
So I've got to hang on till' tomorrow, come what may!
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I'll get some tomorrow
It's only a day away!

This post set such a proper tone for this issue that it's a shame more people didn't follow it's lead. A man has fought for his life, recovers only to find his business has collapsed. So he struggles to put things back together and we offer our support as the gentlemen we are and save the negativity for a later time, if ever. The 25,000 people that Oz invited to come back to this site would have been impressed to see such leadership and caring. I bet many of them would have stayed.
