By the time you read this, Calvin Klein, an old 117 fixture will be on his way to Rio. in the past, besides patronizing the saunas, Mr. Klein had the habit of staying on the sidewalk across Copacabana Palace hotel where he was a guest, boywatching and inviting the cutes white ones to his room for photos and then providing cash and blow jobs. I knew him both before and after this time with CK, really nice guy, and one of the few sauna guys that was fluent in English at the time. In today's real world..anyone who engages in sex outside of a monagamous relationship should always assume their new partner is Poz. And then proceed only with what that person is safe in doing. If that means oral only, so be it. If that means not being on the receiving end of anal, then so be THAT. If it means condoms for any anal, then that is the way to go. After all, you are not just having sex with that one person, but with every person that person has been with and every person those people have been with, etc. As a sexually active gay man (HIV negative) who has been active for over 35 years, it is stupid to think that i have not been with one positive person. I have had many "slut years" in my time. But by taking what precautions have been available to me, I have stayed relatively healthy (nothing that a shot or some dr prescribed meds can't cure). In photo A, he looks young and handsome, with a tattoo on his forearm and above his right nipple. In photo B, he looks older and a little tired, but with no tattoo on the forearm or nipple. But, youth brings with it immaturity, and hard dicks bring with them lack of judgment. The costs of bad decisions are primarily born by the Decider, but there are societal costs too. Most of these young guys who seroconvert do not have health insurance, and the expensive medicines they need are paid for by the government- us. Medicines are only one cost at that. So everyone has a stake in the decision to bareback or have unsafe sex. San Francisco alone was out millions of dollars during the original AIDS epidemic, and I am glad for that.
