You are probably oblivious since you are a participant. And lets be honest here.... Noone that is able to get satisfying sex for FREE would shell out $300 hr, or thousands for an overnite, even if they CAN.... The guys that do on Daddys site in particular seem to do so for Bragging rights, and thats the most distastful part of it for me, since I have no issue with hiring if thats your predisposition. One of these days I'd like to go mostly to meet some of the posters I've long enjoyed. Lucky's always a treat, and Charlie I know I'd love chatting with, and Oliver sounds like one of the nicest folks on Earth. Probably couldn't swing a weekend with an escort, so it would be more for the general socializing and hanging out by the pool. And Palm Springs itself is a pretty nice place. The hosts of the events are fun, accommodating and enjoyable to chat and talk to. There are some that go that are very protective of their "dates" and there are others that go that want their "dates" to get more business. For me, I went dateless and there were many like me that just went for the conversation of like minded individuals. And, hey I met AJ Irons there and think he is one of the hottest guys on earth. And, I assume that our friend Lucky will be there this year as well and while I think he did start the events, he has now turned them over to others and Lucky is one of the most fascinating men you can ever meet to chat with and talk to in person. When you get to meet so many truly good men to chat with and learn from, the events turn out to be really enjoyable. I find these events fun and if you are in the area and are invited, I suggest you attend one. As for me, I love escorts, hookers, clients and conversation related to all of them. He and his co-organizers seem to have done a wonderful job from day one as far as the reports I've heard. Missing out on attending has always been my loss as far as I am concerned. It's a curse of being an East Coaster, at least this East Coaster. Just because I had issues with Daddy's site doesn't mean I have issues with those who participate there. I was always interested in meeting several of the guys who participate there and who used to attend. Bringing escorts along for a social setting was a nice addition too. It always sounded like a fun weekend to me. I'm not sure why some people have to piss in the street when the Circus comes to town. If you do not like the circus, big deal. No body else gives a damn. We met up for dinner on Saturday, before heading to the Palm Spring playhouse to see their production of Damn Yankees. On Sunday, Oliver hosted a pool party at his rented condo. There was no orgy-no sex acts on display-or to quote "Miss Mona", there was "nothing dirty goin on". Of course behind closed doors I am sure there was much debauchery....... I had the pleasure and/or opportunity to meet and/or get reacquainted with many posters, as well as some escorts such as Jason Carter, Kristen Elix, Scott Adler, and David SF. I was going to attend alone, but at the last moment, invited a friend of mine along (a local 20-something who was then a massage therapist). Tampa, with respect to your comment here, MOST of the comments made here, and threads started were not sought, unless they are about escorts, which is the premise of your site. However there are several other Forums here, that I thought were intended for people to speak their minds about, whether it be something positive or negative. Keep in mind, I was not the OP of this thread, I merely commented on it. The fact that someone started it signaled to me they wanted comments. Mine just happened to be negative, based on feedback I have gotten from attendees of the events, which I did not attend.. My comments werent aimed at anyone in particular on this site, however some chose to see themselves in my comments and rebuttled.. If there is only ONE viewpoint to a topic, perhaps disclaimers should be included at the start of the topic signalling WHAT the response MUST be ?
