TotallyOz Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 The Villa Rouge is back open in Sunee Plaza. This time it is all 18 and up and the owner says it will stay that way. Most of the guys were from the old Top Man but the location is excellent and they had a nice selection of guys and I hope that continues to improve. The place has had a very jaded history but it does look like the message has been loud and clear and they seem to be set on keeping everything legal. Meanwhile a visit to Crazy Dragon was fun and some hot boys in there and they were all also over 18. Now there are 2 bars that most definately you will not have to worry about with being under 18. Lets hope they both are able to draw customers as that is really what will determine how long they stay in business. For those that keep talking about the bars in this area and wanting them cleaned up, well here are 2 that seem to be in full compliance. How about dropping by for a beer or two every few nights to help them make a low season even better? Quote
Up2u Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Several weeks back I visited Top Man at a friend's recommendation. I was surprised. The bar was full of energy and with lots of youthful (18+), handsome young men dancing and having fun. I have always visited this bar in the past but left quickly. Typically bbbboring with a capital B. If Villa Rouge has hired the "old" Topman staff they will have a problem. Hopefully they will do their own recruiting. Quote
Guest Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Well, there is a sign on the bar for sale and I have been told there are a few interested parties. Not sure if they know what they are getting into with a bar in Pattaya but I wish them luck. Quote

Up2u Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 No. They simply moved all the guys you liked to Villa Rouge. The idea is that Topman will be just show bar with no go go and two shows every day. IMHO, a risky move. I see. Thanks for the "news". Quote
Guest Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I see. Thanks for the "news". The bar is beautiful and the guys on stage are very sexy and NOW all over 18. For those that want an over 18 bar in Sunee, you now have it. Lets see if it is able to get the amount of customers it once did or will it fall prey to the lure of more customers if they dip below a year or two? I think like any business, if they are able to sustain with the money long enough to keep the business going and good customers, they will keep within the law. This is good for all the other bars and everyone that wants the area to follow the rules and minimize the police raids in the area. But, it takes good business in order to succeed in this. Stop by and support them with a drink or two. I was also in Crazy Dragon a few nights back and everyone over 18. Lots of boys and few customers. The money spent on the renovation of this place really does shine. Dropping by for a drink there to lend support to them while they are recovering from the death of Peter and change in management would be a good way to keep businesses like this who want to keep within the law going.
