'Consumer Reports' picks worst new car values

The Nissan Armada gets only 13 miles a gallon, has terrible scores on the reliability survey and costs $1.20 a mile to operate. It's that record that earned the big SUV and nine other vehicles spots on Consumer Reports' list of worst automotive values. While the magazine combed through its reviews and surveys to pick the nation's best, it also reserved a special place at the bottom for the worst in each automotive category.
