NSA tracking cell phone locations worldwide, Snowden documents show

Well it's going to get more sophisticated than that since everything gets connected to one's cell phone but people will find ways to protect one's privacy. I no longer have a cell phone myself and not to plan to have one but not sure what I'm going to do when cell phone or tablet become used as identification card. It will happen someday, I bet. Maybe I will have to get one then. I don't have even have a contact list on my computer. I simply memorize everybody's phone number and some important addresses.

A Geico ad talks about a marvelous invention that is even better than having text transliterated into voice and vice versa, called the telephone. Similarly, Hito, you could make do with something so useful I almost dare not mention it and that is pen and paper for all your important stuff. If questioned, you can always wad it up and swallow it. ^_^

Not sure why but I don't like keeping a contact book. I memorize numbers. Yes I forget some numbers but I call others to get the numbers I forgot. Something they get annoyed but they usually help me. ^_^

I understand completely. The phone numbers that I have dialed over and over during the year are committed to memory. But, if they fall into disuse for any reason, unfortunately, they often fall by the wayside. One has to keep up with friends, one way or another. ^_^

Actually, I only give out my cell phone number for business reasons and for family emergencies. If you have one of those I need to know about, let me know so I can provide my number to you.

Best regards,
