Gaybutton Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 For the past few nights, the Birdcage bar has been closed. Recently, rumors were rampant about the imminent demise of the Birdcage. I haven't heard anything. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the closings over the past few nights is something temporary or whether the Birdcage has passed into history. Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 The latest information I have is that Birdcage has indeed silently closed. I cannot confirm that yet, but my information is coming from highly reliable sources. At this moment, that's the best I can tell you. Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 I now have confirmation that is acceptable to me. The Birdcage bar has closed. Quote
Guest Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Sorry to see it go. Day / Night is a good area but seems to have a hard time for gogo bars to make a go of things there. Quote
Gaybutton Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 This is the "For Sale" ad for The Birdcage, that appears in PATTAYA PEOPLE. Quote
Guest joseph44 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Now, with El Duo coming up in Cafe Royal, The Birdcage doesn't have a chance. All the admirers of the birdcage will join the Duo from the 2nd of August, well at least that's what they're shouting on the SGT forum. Amazing how easy people can get a dripping d*ck while watching some Philipino's with a nice voice. Anyway, if El-Duo is going to be a succes as the BC would be than: Good Luck fellows!! Need some editing: My post is about all the people who are so very excited over something new, same as they all were in case of the BC. Now with something new coming up in CR, all posters are very anxious and if I have to believe SGT, Cafe Royal will be too small for the number of people. Quote
Guest luvthai Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Cafe Royal and Birdcage offered entirely different venues so there is no possible comparison. I do however agree that the lounge area at Cafe Royale is much to small to handle a crowd of any size. Should I wish to go somewhere for a drink and a little entertainment than the Royale would be a good choice but should I be looking for a bedbuddy than I would have to look elsewhere. Quote
