Guest hitoallusa Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Sometimes when someone "voluntarily" offers phone numbers to the US government, it's like a bait to figure out how the info flows inside the government so that they could map things out. So it goes both ways and you can't criticize the US intelligence community. Sometimes you have to do these things (interact with foreign tipsters) to find reliable foreign recruits that could bring them some valuable info and you need to discern their tips and etc. What frustrates me is that why can't Edward see the other side of the story and beyond his personal belief. Does he think that he can stop the long tradition of spying that goes back to thousands of years by doing this???? I understand his concerns and the NSA will be reformed but the scope of the change he wants is too broad and unrealistic if that's what he wants. Quote
