Also looking to stay in Thailand for around 2 weeks Can you recommend decent hotels not too expensive?

Also what is the current exchange rate?

And which are the best Go Go bars to use ........Looking for some hot times with 18 plus guys

Well, I suggest you take a look at the forums here as each city you mentioned has been pretty well covered. Also, look at the City Guides on the site. As for the gogo bars, it will be hit or miss depending on what you like, the day of the week, the number of boys that show up to work. But, one thing is for sure, you will have a hell of a time!

Hi...I will try to answer some of your questions as best I can, but there is a wealth of information on this site and others.

Pattaya is about a 1.5-2 hour drive from Bangkok. You can get taxi of bus at airport. Phuket is a one hour flight from Bangkok or Pattaya. If I were you, I would look at visiting Bangkok on arrival in the country, then fly to Phuket for a visit there, and then fly directly to Pattaya for you visit there, and then get taxi to ariport from Pattaya to continue your trip. Bangtkok Airways has a daily direct flyight from Phuket to Pattaya.

Decent Hotels...well, let's see, I would stay at Tantawan Hotel in Bangkok...right in the action area, outstanding staff, visitors treated well, and just a nice place. In Phuket, I would stay at Club One Seven cluboneseven.net It is close enough to the action, great pool/garden area, and an excellent staff. In Pattaya, it is a toss up depending on what you are looking for. Boystown Cafe Royal is nice and a good place to stay. Howard's in Sunee plaza is small but has an elevator, and is part of the action. There are also more upscale places in Jomtien and the rest of Pattaya.

The current exchange rate at Bangkok Bank as of 1 hour ago was 33.1 baht to the dollar. It has been below 31, but has come back up in the last few days.

As said, the go go bars are changing all the time. Down the street from the Tantawan Hotel in Bangkok is Soi Twilight with several good go go bars. I really like Classic Boys as they have a younger (but over 18) looking rather clean cut bunch of boys. But there are many to look at. Take your time, and see as many as you can. In Phuket, Paradise complex is where the bars are, and I can strongly reccomment Passport Pub and My Way. Also be sure to have a meal at Sea Hag (gay owned and great food). In Pattaya there are too many bars to even pick. Some is Sunee have younger guys (some may not be 18, so check ID's), Boystown is fun and should not be missed, and have a drink and/or dinner at Dick's Cafe in Jomtien.

Hope that helps a little...there is a lot to see and do. I would reccommend that you take a Purple Dragon tour for a day in Bangkok. The office is in the lobby of the Tantawan, and a gay boy will show you the temples, water taxi, chinatown, and will make the tour to see what you want...one on one.

Have a great visit. I am lucky enough to be living in Thailand now.
