Guest EXPAT
Revenge porn is now illegal in the state of California. Specifically, it is “a misdemeanor to post identifiable nude pictures of someone else online without permission with the intent to cause emotional distress or humiliation.”

Guest Hoover42
So, it's OK to post nude photos of someone if your intent is not revenge but to show them off to the world?
Guest PasadenaCA
So, it's OK to post nude photos of someone if your intent is not revenge but to show them off to the world? That would work, right? Intent is a toughie. Between "without permission" and "with intent," is there an implied "or" or an "and"? Do both conditions have to be fulfilled or is posting "without permission" sufficient?
