Members wayout Posted September 28, 2013 Members Posted September 28, 2013 So this is really nitpicking but I believe Oz wants things as close to perfect as possible....on the main page it now says "Boytoy Loves It's Members" but it should be "Boytoy Loves Its Members". Quote

Thanks. I did catch that and have changed it but the programmers didn't upload yet as it is a weekend and they rarely work on weekends. And, please feel free to nitpick and give advice anytime. We not only appreciate it, we take all advice and try to work into the site the best we can. Lucky 1 Quote
Members wayout Posted September 28, 2013 Members Posted September 28, 2013 Ok, well here is an issue that I seem to be having with the layout. I've tried different sizing of the screen but it doesn't make a difference. At the top of the page, the "Click Here for Message Board", facebook/twitter links, Best Viewed with Firefox, my account links, search box and BoyToy logo, are all along the far left edge and the rest of the right side is blank (the blue background only). Not sure if it is because I am using Chrome or what it could be. I wish I could somehow take a pic of it and post it here to show. It doesn't look anything like the layout you posted on the first page of this thread. PS....I checked the site on my other older computer, also using Chrome, and it looks perfect. Only other difference between the two computers is the newer computer is using windows 8 and the older computer an older windows version. NEVER MIND...sorry. I refreshed the page and now it is looking just perfect. Quote
Members BigK Posted September 30, 2013 Members Posted September 30, 2013 On the boyflirt url there in not a "more" button in the upper right of the screen like there is on flirtforfree which allows someone to give power boosts while in chat. TotallyOz 1 Quote

Guest hitoallusa Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Oh my Oz.. You work so hard and so good at customer service.. I wonder what you would be like a husband.. I think if your wife tells to do something to you.. Your answers will be "Sure dear, right away" or better "My dear, I have done it already, look" What a perfect husband.. lol... I have sent a request to the support team there. Thanks for the heads up. Quote

Members mvan1 Posted October 3, 2013 Members Posted October 3, 2013 I see the guys on both sides (and yes, definitely hotties). Wondering if you will change those periodically? Overall, I like the new look Great job Oz Speaking of seeing the guys on both sides, is there any information on the guy on the right? Is he an actor or escort? Thanks Quote
Members Lucky Posted October 4, 2013 Members Posted October 4, 2013 I am not attracted to the guy on the left or the right. But I like this guy. And I'll keep my eye out for someone else to put there. Right now though, it's late, and I need some rest. TotallyOz 1 Quote
Members RA1 Posted October 5, 2013 Members Posted October 5, 2013 Twice, once yesterday and once today, when I posted there were a lot of extraneous symbols appearing in the message. When I chose "edit" and removed them, the changed message would not post. So, I went to the full editor, which is fine but the message now has my sign off at the end of the last line of the message vs. below it. No biggie but just something different. Best regards, RA1 Quote
Members wayout Posted October 5, 2013 Members Posted October 5, 2013 I think what RA1 is experiencing is something similar to what I have had happen. Not the extraneous symbols but when I posted and then went back to edit to correct a misspelling or add some additional thoughts, after I edit and post (save changes) it does not go back to the original page with the post showing the correction (as I am fairly sure happened previously) but rather the edit dialogue will stay open. At that point, if I refresh the page, the edit does show up. Quote

Thanks very much for the information. I did not know it was possible to buy stock photos. Maybe that is where some of the escorts (who advertise on other sites) get there photos. It might explain why the same picture sometimes appears for different escorts. Quote
Guest CharliePS Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I find that when I want to go back to make a change to a post, it doesn't work unless I click on "use full editor" before I make the change. Quote
Members Lucky Posted October 6, 2013 Members Posted October 6, 2013 I thought that my editing was not going through because it did not return me to the page but stayed on the editing page. But, when I peeked at the post, it was, in fact, edited. It just doesn't automatically return you to the thread as it did before. Quote

Does it only happen when posting in a specific topic or forum for example? Anything at all that you can think of that might help us reproduce the problem while investigating. Quote
Members wayout Posted October 7, 2013 Members Posted October 7, 2013 It seems to happen any time I have edited, regardless if it is in a thread I started or another thread I am responding to. I don't recall if it is in different forums as I think most of my posts and edits have been in the general chat forum.Ps...I went back to this post and edited and same problem. PPs....interesting that when I exited the thread and went back to the forum listing, then came back to this thread and edited this post, it worked fine, just as before (i.e. did leave the edit box and went back to the original thread with the post edited) Quote
TotallyOz Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 The guys at Invision said that if you follow these steps, it should be fine. My apologies for the inconvenience. http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html Quote
Members lookin Posted October 8, 2013 Members Posted October 8, 2013 The guys at Invision said that if you follow these steps, it should be fine. http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html If you follow these steps for Safari, you'll toss your cookies for all websites, not only this one. I just opened Safari 'Preferences', clicked the 'Privacy' button, clicked the 'Details' box, then found a couple of cookies that began with Boytoy and removed just those two. So far so good. wayout 1 Quote
Members wayout Posted October 8, 2013 Members Posted October 8, 2013 Thanks Lookin, that was my concern for Chrome as well (eliminating all cookies for all sites). I will follow your suggestion and try to eliminate individual cookies for just this site to see what happens and if it corrects the problem. Ok, just tried it and seems to be working fine now. lookin 1 Quote
