TotallyOz Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Was around in Sunee for a bit tonight. Ate at Ole restaurant and it was enjoyable. The boyfriend loved the steak and we had a good time sitting and chatting. Jimm Jimmy James was a bit slow. I was told many boys were off already when I showed and that others took the day off. Still, what was on stage was cute and all seemed to really enjoy themselves. I know I enjoyed the boys frolicking with each other. I headed over to Villa Rouge but it is still closed and not open for business. I was told the other 2 bars that were closed were open tonight but Villa Rouge would take longer to open. We went to Sundance and they had a mass of guys and some very nice looking doormen. Topman was where the action was at tonight. The stage was full of boys and there were many customers to be found. I found a dear lad there that I just had to have accompany me out tonight. Yumm. I did not see one dancer who had even questionable age on stage or around the bar at all. The mamasan from years back is Jack and always a pleasure to talk to and deal with. The 2 doormen I took off had a 400 baht off. Not a price I wanted to pay but I had already offed them before I was thrown with that. Come In bar was crowded all night and seem to be the busiest beer bar around. But, damm, the beer bars across from Jimm Jimmy James also had full houses. Corner Bar wasn't packed but had a nice group in there. I think their may have been some club meeting going on at one point as I saw a few owners of other bars chatting away. Oud's bar looks fantastic. They did a stand up job on the place and he was full of laughter and silliness. The place will be a hit and bring a nice bit of traffic to that part of the Soi. I did hear from many of the boys that it was so slow and not many customers. I didn't see the lack of it there but perhaps I am just not used to the numbers. Things looked pretty good to me. I took my guys to see Hulk at Major Cineplex tonight and we all enjoyed that a great deal. Quote
Guest Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Planning to go out last night to finish the look around the Plaza but I laid down at 3PM in the afternoon and did not get up until 11 PM. The jet lag really took its toll on me. Tonight I went to Good Boy bar. It has several nice lads in it that I had seen earlier on the streets going to work and one in particular interested me. I had bought him a drink and chatted with him before he started work but then went to his place and bought him another one. We were not compatible but I will keep an eye on him. Minou Bar was next on the agenda and it was pretty dead. There were about 7 dancers there but they looked even more bored than I was and I was pretty fucking bored. The owner came in one time and made them all actually get on the stage as not one was there at one point in time even though there were about 7 customers in the bar. The bar did not have a great variety for reasons I'll go into soon but the place was decorated fabulously. The owner of this bar also owns Villa Rough and a few other bars. He has really created some amazing decorations and upscale looking places. Villa Rouge is still closed but the sign on the door says it will Open June 18. The lights were on tonight to let the world know they were coming back in 2 days and the lights certainly brightened up that soi. Sundance had a nice selection of guys and there were a mix of ladyboys and manly guys. I didn't see any age issues with them but I didn't ask anyone other than the one boy I took with me and he was 18 with ID card. I think the mamasan there is Bo and she is wonderful. Classy and sweet and honest. She will tell you who will work with what you want and how will not. Jimm Jimmy James had much more boys tonight than the other night. They had a nice mix of guys as well. K-Boys is back starting tomorrow night. The bar was bought by Beer who was the mamasan and manager of Villa Rouge. Apparently she bought the bar herself and is now going to run K-boys. She always has a following of boys that go wherever she goes so it will be very interesting to see what happens to the other bars that had her hand in them. As it was the last few nights, there were few boys in all the bars and now, there is going to be another one to take a slice of the pie. Duc's bar has a great atmosphere and he has gotten funnier with age. His humor is a bit dry at times but he does seem to treat his customers well. The workers at this bar are a real class act and the manager of the bar is perhaps the only Thai I have met that I would trust with anything I own and know it would be returned the way I gave it to him. The streets were a bit slow but they seem to be picking up. Traffic on the other soi was busy as Oud's had its party tonight with balloons and tons of guys and traffic. The owners here are wonderful guys and deserve to be a real success! The hamburger lady that always made my hamburgers has moved down the street a bit and my boyfriend had to find her as I thought her burgers were wonderful. They certainly did not compare to Niddy's Cheeseburger as it was "the best Pattaya had to offer." Corner Bar IMHO really started the renovations in the area and the bars seem to be following suite. The entire area has gone through a massive beautification inside the bars. The outside still has a lot to be desired but the inside of the bars are just getting more and more beautiful. Quote
Guest Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 Kboys did not open last night as was expected as they had some more remodeling to do. They are supposed to open tonight. Also, Villa Rouge is supposed to open again tonight. A few bars are having free food I hear so the herd of freeloaders should be able to get plenty of food tonight. But, I did not get confirmation on all the food. I did visit Look Bar last night and it was covered with boys. Some were questionable. It is way down the soi so it is one of the last places I go when in that area. Spent some time talking to one of the owners of Oud's last night and had a great conversation. That place really does look wonderful and a much needed place in Sunee. Tonight should be very interesting in Sunee as 2 bars are reopening and the competition for customers and boys should make for an interesting night. Unfortunately, the boyfriend and I are off for an exotic adventure for a few nights, so hopefully someone will keep us informed of the comings and goings of these bar openings. Quote
Guest Asmerom Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Unfortunately, the boyfriend and I are off for an exotic adventure for a few nights. I found these three posts on Sunee Plaza to be a delightful bit of disarmingly simple, straightforward, factual, reporting based on a couple of nights of peripatetic research, apparently as enjoyable as it was diligent. Thanks. But please , for all our sakes, do the same for your few nights of exotic adventure. If I read you correctly wild horses wouldn't stop you. I look forward to your report. Quote

No wild horses where we are but I did feed a banana to a wild monkey today. Is that close enough to the wild side? Report to follow in a few days. Quote
