However, the Thai hospitals - as will others - will require a deposit to cover the costs of your stay, and then submit either via the hospital or by you to the insurer for reimbursement. Also you will note that the policies available via the internet are for issue ages up tom 80+; whereas the Thai policies are not available after age 59 1/2 from my experiences in reading the policies...unless you have the policy in force prior to age 59 1/2 and are willing to accept the policy limitations and exclusions often found in Thai issued policies. The claims process experience I have seen to date shows me that the company is diligent and prompt in processing claims. And...you can dial the 1-800 number internationally and get to speak to a live native English speaking person...to answer your questions and provide advice. The selection of which coverages and policy is best for you is at times confusing. I try to do my best to assist in providing you options and advice.
