Members RA1 Posted September 6, 2013 Members Posted September 6, 2013 Those don't seem like all that serious bloopers by comparison. Today, watching the film, it seems dated and a bit "old-fashioned" but still enjoyable, at least by me. I felt sorry for the animal that was vaporized when the gal reached the "age of reason". I would very much like to have the robot available to make booze on demand. Best regards, RA1 AdamSmith 1 Quote
Guest NCBored Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 This is one of my favorite films from childhood. Some years ago, I put it on Christmas gift list - and for some reason, my sister thought it was an 'adult' film. Quote
AdamSmith Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 and for some reason, my sister thought it was an 'adult' film. Well, it is based (loosely) on The Tempest, arguably the weirdest of Shakespeare's imaginings. I worship it, but approach it ever with trepidation. The play, that is. The movie I think may be my second most favorite piece of celluloid after '2001.' Quote
AdamSmith Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 P.S. One of my great, thus far unrealized, wants is to spend a day playing with a theramin. Quote

I believe you can buy a toy one of these for 15-35 dollars and a "real" one for $300 or so (up). When you send your list to Santa.................... Best regards, RA1 AdamSmith 1 Quote
