Possibly the girls presumed the dear boy was seeking reassurance that he was sufficiently straight acting to pass and were too kind to burst his bubble. The guys seemed a little more honest in their opinions than the girls he asked (I can't remember any of the girls saying they thought he was gay). I was very encouraged by the over all reactions of general acceptance. But I also think it's easier to be accepted when you're as drop dead gorgeous as this guy is. If it is, how does one explain all the gay bashing one reads about in the press?
