Gaybutton Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I have received a few inquiries as to what happened in Sunee Plaza a couple of nights ago. A few hours before closing time several bars suddenly started hustling the customers out the door and closed down for the night. That's because the bars received a tip that yet another raid was on for that night and it was imminent. The raid didn't happen. As for why it didn't happen, the only reasons I can come up with are the tip was wrong in the first place, the raid was canceled for some reason, or the police got a tip about the tip and decided to postpone until they can raid with an element of surprise. Your guess is as good as mine. Quote
Guest dale1 Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 I was in a bar (which shall remain nameless) a couple of nights ago and word reached management that the cops were checking bars a couple of sois away and were likely proceeding onward ........... management advised those boys who did not want to chance a piss test to split ............. I was amazed .......... it was like rats leaving a sinking ship ............. 7-8 boys dressed and got the hell out of there. ............. as it is a bar that I frequent, I was frankly surprised at which of the boys split ........ boss fined each boy the equivalent of an off -- 300 baht -- so was not just a way to get the night off. .......... ultimately the police did not show ............ but just goes to show ya how wide spread whatever it is that the piss test shows. Gaybutton Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 7-8 boys dressed and got the hell out of there. It's so sad. These boys have a very difficult life as it is, and they just have no clue what the drugs are doing to them. What's even more sad is the only thing that surprises me about your post is that no more than 7-8 boys got out, considering that the average bar has 20 to 25 boys. I would imagine that the under-age boys got out too. Quote
Guest luvthai Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Maybe the boys left because they didn't want the police harrassment or didn't want to be seen on the local news. Most boys have families that don't know what they do and will do anything to avoid the media. It doesn't always mean that the boys are using drugs. There could be several reasons and one may be they are really underage as well. Quote
PattayaMale Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 I happened to be leaving Sunee Plaza. I usually park my motorbike close to Sammy's (Eric). When I was leaving I noticed 2 police going into and up the steps at Marine Plaza. I understand that some of the guys that work at the bars have rooms on the top floors. Quote
