Guest mauRICE Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 You might want to drop in if you're in London this weekend and can spare the 3-pound entrance fee. This is the first time that they are charging an admission fee and the money collected is to be used for a raffle. What would a Thai function be without gambling of some kind. Note: "Please do not bring your own food or drinks to the Festival as these are provided on site. Exceptions will only be made for water or in special circumstances. Please note dogs are not allowed on site.." I wonder who they are targetting the above warnings at. Western Union are a major sponsor of the event. Now, what have they got to do with Thai culture and society? http://www.thaifestival.org.uk/index.html Quote
