Guest FourAces Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I recently watched this film for the 3rd time since its release. Its a story of two boys Neil and Brian who played on the same little league team. We follow their lives from age 8 to 18ish. One boy Neil, played by Joseph Gordon Levitt, had been molested by his Little League manager. Neil grows up to enter the world of boy prostitution at about 15 ... he has no emotional attachments except for his mother. However she is more like a friend to him than a parent. Eventually Neil moves to NYC to join a platonic woman friend who constantly urges him to be careful. Brian, played by Brady Corbet, is a very passive young man. He is extremely lost ... he feels that he had been abducted by aliens when he was young. He is on a quest to find out what they did to him. All of Brians leads are dead ends until he comes upon a photo of him and Neil from their Little League team. However, his search for Neil is fruitless til a chance meeting with a friend of Neils who explains he is in NYC but will be home for the Christmas holiday. Once home Neil understands immediately what answers Brian is searching for. And he walks the young man step by step of what happened to them both by their pedophile baseball manager when the boys were just eight. I really enjoy this film, mostly because it doesn't feel forced. The escort scenes are true to the time frame and the damage done to these boys by one selfish man also rings true. Some sweet scenes with JGL (man he has a hot ass ) only adds to the enjoyment of watching this movie. If you haven't seen it I know Hulu has it as well as Amazon Prime. Quote
Members wayout Posted June 18, 2013 Members Posted June 18, 2013 I saw this movie several years ago and enjoyed it very much, so much so that I even bought it on DVD (which says a great deal because I can count on one hand the number of non-porn DVDs I have purchased). If you haven't seen it, I think it is time well spent watching it. Quote
