I'm not familiar with his work, but I found his statemen t somewhat disturbing.

In some sense I agree with him.. I don't recommend anyone to be in porn for a long time. Maybe a short career will be ok if one is doing it for school. Smart young kids figure out things for themselves very quickly and do things that are good for their career. I don't have to worry about those smart ones. I have seen extremely smart escorts who out smarts clients in the escort business. They are coached by well by former escorts well and exploits the psychology and behavior patterns of clients very well. Let's say they have a good sense about how people behave and make profits with least amount of effort.

Unfortunately there are not so smart ones who get into drugs and trouble. They are exploited other people and nobody helps them in the business. In order to prevent that we need to implement better working conditions for porn actors, higher safety protocols and most of all promote fair perception about the porn industry.

I don't think prostitutions will go away not to speak of pornography. We need to accept that very reality and instead of stigmatizing them. We need to help these young kids to have good working conditions in the industry and open up other job opportunities for them. Education is very important.

Lastly, I think there is no shame working at Starbucks or GAP at all and I am proud of my Starbucks people. My local Starbucks gives me free cup once in a while.. But whatever bias and wrong perceptions he has about the industry it made him retire at the appropriate moment and his helping other young people to prepare and think about the industry before they jump into it.
