Members Suckrates Posted April 20, 2013 Members Posted April 20, 2013 Trailer seems INTENSE..... I always viewed the Great Gatsy as a story of frivolity, opulence, partying, and Great clothes...... Who knows, we'll see! Quote
Guest josephga Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I doubt id watch it not my type of film. I didn't like Moulin Rouge turned it off 20 minutes in Quote
AdamSmith Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Agree I didn't get Moulin Rouge. My ex made me sit through it and got aggravated when I dozed off that same 20 minutes into it. This Gatsby looks like it has possibilities. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I'm unclear how they are going to make this work with Leo - who must be in his 40s - playing a 23 year old character. Jay Gatsby behaves the way he does and gets away with it because of his youth. His same actions on an older character simply make no sense. Quote

Guest hitoallusa Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Oh my AS don't worry if you doze off watching a movie with me then I will get you a warm blanket and a pair of cozy sleepers. I will be knitting a sweater or a scarf while paying attention to the movie and you. I'm a multi-tasker.. I might brew some tea but then I might feel like I need to bake something too so we can skip that... Agree I didn't get Moulin Rouge. Guest FourAces Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Has Leo done any watchable movie (without taking his clothes off) since Titanic? Quote
