I think also those who lost their lives to such a serious illness and would find these types of films being made after what they went though. And as Oz points out straight porn is all bareback. What they should do is simply put in the stringent testing procedures they use in straight porn in gay porn. By doing so, the straight porn industry has only had three cases of infection in the last seven years and the rates of infection among female porn stars is 780 percent lower then of straight women who are not porn stars. Beyond that the use of condoms in porn actually puts receptive performers at a higher risk of STD infection than bareback, because porn stars don't have sex the way people in the real world do. It takes hours and hours to shoot a scene, during which time the latex itself becomes an irritant that causes minor fissures in either an anus or a vagina, making infection much more likely in their personal lives or if a condom breaks on set. The tests used with straight performers can detect infection within 24 hours (it's a better test then the one available for the regular public.) It was seven years ago when the straight industry started using fake dongs filled with ivory soap for the anal creampie orgasm shots and that's dropped their rate of STD infection across the board. It's super easy to film actually anal sex until the last minute and then cut away and then cut back faking the creampie, but the gay industry hasn't done this yet. IMO, scenes with the polyurethane and newer polyisoprene condoms often appear as bare at a glance unless you go to the effort to make a determination otherwise. Latex condoms are obvious and distract somewhat from the scene, but if they must be used then make it clear latex. Colored condoms look like galoshes and destroy any heat in the scene. One cannot tell the difference from a colored dildo or other plastic toy or heaven forbid... a borrowed clowns dick.
