Members ihpguy Posted March 21, 2013 Members Posted March 21, 2013 Have abdominal surgery, guaranteed to kill your appetite and any urges to overeat. It has worked for me for the past two weeks. Shrunken stomach and have almost all urges. Now I have to figure out what next type of surgery. flipao 1 Quote
Members wayout Posted March 21, 2013 Members Posted March 21, 2013 Sorry to hear about your abdominal surgery. I can imagine that would kill your appetite. In my case, my "diet" was contracting TB and by the time they figured out what was going on I had lost almost 70 lbs (from 200 to 130). Quote
Members RA1 Posted March 21, 2013 Members Posted March 21, 2013 Being ill is by no means a satisfactory or pleasant way to endure a weight reduction diet. Best regards, RA1 Quote
Guest Hoover42 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I'm so sorry. Hope you recover soon. Quote
Members ihpguy Posted March 24, 2013 Author Members Posted March 24, 2013 Well I went to the ER yesterday afternoon with chest pains and a racing pulse and spent 17 hours on a saline drip and no food and beforehand hadn't eaten for another 9 hours since breakfast. So....another great diet tip. At this rate, I'll be ready for that tummy tuck faster than I thought. But I have to admit, that when I finally did get back home this afternoon, I did have a double scoop of Nutella Ice cream. Quote

Members ihpguy Posted March 29, 2013 Author Members Posted March 29, 2013 Thanks. Back in the US and visited my ex=cardiologist who diagnosed the problem and the procedure has a 95-99% success rate. Now to find a MD in Brasil that is covered under my health insurance down there or wait until October 1 when heath insurance in the US gets ride of the law on preexisting condtions. lookin 1 Quote
