TotallyOz Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I went by Clubber tonight and they were calling people inside. The lights outside were off but the inside was open for gogo. Are they back permanent? Quote
Guest Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Apparently, all they had to do was change the name and they are now open again. The bar was closed but they can change the name and open as a new bar. From my understanding, the building was not closed but the bar was and that is the difference as to when you can change names and reopen or just stay gone until the ban takes effect. A slew of boys were there outside last night calling all customers inside. I didn't go in and take a look but hope to sometime in the future. Quote
Gaybutton Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Apparently, all they had to do was change the name and they are now open again. Not quite the case. George, the German former owner of Happy Bar, has taken over and opened the bar under the name "Ligun." He is also going to take over the location of the former Jungle Boys bar and will change the name to "ligun 1." The present "Ligun" bar will become "Ligun 2." They will be two separate go-go bars. The bar currently open as "Ligun" is already operating. Several of the go-go dancers are clad in the attire from Jungle Boys. Drinks are 100 baht. I asked George what "ligun" means. He says it literally means "up to you." He also says he is in the process of recruiting "new" boys, all of whom will come from various areas in Issan. Quote
Guest Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 The boys outside are hot and sexy. I didn't go in but the doormen are hot and the place seemed to be busy last night. Quote
