I did it as it seems like you get some good benefits including late checkout, free Internet, upgraded rooms, etc. Does anyone know what the difference would be when staying in a Starwoods Hotel and being Delta Platinum and but Starwoods elite as I let that run out a few years back? If it is the same, well, that is fabulous! Diamond and Platinum Medallion® members can enjoy 4pm late checkout, access to the SPG elite check-in line, complimentary in-room Internet access, and upgrades to enhanced rooms at check-in. Quote
