Guest EXPAT Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Amazon has a new ad out for their Kindle Paperwhite, and it's adorably gay inclusive, sure to rattle the cages of One Million Moms and everyone else. If I had a quibble, it would be that the woman is in a bikini, but the primary male in the commercial is fully dressed, rather than being in a swim suit. So maybe it's gay inclusive, but its definitely sexist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS3t9reE364 Quote
Guest lurkerspeaks Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 you are a little late, Expat. I already posted this.. HAHA.. i actually beat you to something.. Quote
Guest hitoallusa Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Sigh I want to go on a honeymoon with a hubby too... I have never let an escort like the one in The Wedding Date.. Most of them are anxious to leave as soon as time is over... Quote
Guest FourAces Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 A bit of a safe commercial but a bit of progress as well. Quote
Guest Hoover42 Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I just melted when that guy said, "We should celebrate!" What a smile! Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Right on cue, One Million Moms is furious with Amazon for their gay twist advertisement for the Kindle Paperwhite. According to their pointless outrage, the spot has been running on shows such as American idol, permanently corrupting them. Jeff Bezos gave $2.5 million to support marriage equality in Washington, so I don't think he really cares about their outrage. Quote
Guest Hoover42 Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 That's awesome. I bought my own Kindle Paperwhite because of this ad; Of course, I buy a new Kindle every time they come out with a new model, but, hey, the ad reminded me it was time Quote
