Members Lucky Posted February 17, 2013 Members Posted February 17, 2013 The Bangkok Post says that many ladyboys thrive in a prison setting. Sundays sound especially fun!Find out why: http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/investigation/334017/ladyboys-lost-in-legal-system Well, I admit I did not re-read the article before I posted it. In the newspaper article, it mentioned that Sundays are the only non-workday, so that is the day orgies take place in prison. It isn't mentioned in the online article. Quote
TotallyOz Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 It is an interesting read for sure. It is not what I have been told of the prisons in Thailand. I have spoken to many that have been and they all said that sex with anyone in prison was taboo and when caught, they were punished severely. Quote
Members Lucky Posted February 17, 2013 Author Members Posted February 17, 2013 Sex among male inmates is rather common in most prisons. Again, I don't really have first hand experience, but I do hear a lot. I just can't imagine all those willing ladyboys not being taken up on their offers, even by the guards. The other common thread in Thai newspapers when I was there was corruption. The whole country seems corrupt, so the prisons would likely also be. It's my thinking that Thailand lost its innocence when Taksin ruled. The yellow shirts learned that someone wanted to take away what they had always taken for granted as rightfully theirs, and the red shirts gave the poor some hope that they might finally get a leg up in society. It all came crushing down, and Thailand will never be the same. Naturally Taksin was as crooked as anyone, using the poor for his own devices. Quote

Members Lucky Posted February 22, 2013 Author Members Posted February 22, 2013 I mispelled the name of the deposed leader. It is Thaksin, not Taksin. His sister now rules the country, but it is alleged that he does all the heavy lifting from exile. Quote
