Any Advice on Sao Paulo?

I'm in Sao Paulo for the first time in years (lived in Brazil for a while, speak the language). I came here because I heard such good things about Lagoa and other saunas. It's been a complete disappointment. The quality of the boys is really a lot below what you find in Rio at 117 and elsewhere. Does anyone have advice for where I can find young, muscular, straight masculine guys in Sao Paulo?

I went to Lagoa twice this week, and among a decent crowd of guys, there were maybe two or three who didn't have mediocre physiques. Also many of them agree to do passivo right away, which is not a good sign in my opinion. I understand it's Carnaval and many guys have left town, but actually a lot of the older patrons told me it's been this way for quite some time, and that 117 is much better. I met a younger guy like me (I'm late 20's) who has similar tastes, a Brazilian client, and he was similarly disappointed. He said he had been there a few months ago, and it was the same at that time as well.

I find this strange...Sao Paulo must surely have some beautiful boys, so if they stopped coming to Lagoa, where do they go now? If anyone knows, please tell me or PM me. I suspect that they're being kept "secret," as happens in first world nations, and that they probably go to private clubs no one knows about and cater to a very expensive clientele. I don't see another explanation.

Anyway this has been quite a disappointment, as I've been looking forward to SP saunas for a while...

I'm glad to find this forum, I've been a fan of Brazilian guys for years, and have met some spectacular specimens in Rio...

I should also add that just walking around in Sao Paulo I see many fewer hot guys than in Rio in everyday life, so there's that...although maybe I should frequent the posher areas, who knows...

I would also try Fragata as I do love it there as well. The guys are Fragata are often younger than the ones at Lagoa. I have met many nice guys there.

For Lagoa, it can be great but I was there during Carnival and it was dead. Rio is happening during Carnival.

Thanks TotallyOz...do you have any info. on whether in SP the scene has moved to "private" venues, and what might be a way to break into them?

I heard there are good looking guys in Ibaripuera park, maybe it's possible to approach one of them and offer money...

I have been to the park many times and there are money boys there. When I was there, they are all the way at one end of the park. The first part is not money boys. But, the ones that are near the end were. You can tell as you drive by as they are jerking off.

Oz is 100% right. Carnival is the worst time of the year to visit São Paulo. All the good looking boys go to Rio. Fragata is usually nice at other times of the year, it might be worth a try, but beware, in the past was known as a bottom boy paradise (but not exclusively), I don't know how it is nowadays.

Did anyone go to Lagoa tonight? How was it?

I went to JK Iguatemi to have a look around. I found a very hot guy working in one of the stores there lol ...seems completely straight. But we arranged to meet and go out hunting for girls one day soon. Not sure if he'll follow up haha; I think it will be difficult though.

He's easily a 9 from what I can see, best-looking guy I've seen in SP so far.

How much does a guy working in retail at one of the stores at JK make per month? I would have been very generous with him...

Go back to Igustemi shopping and offer him 1000Reais for all of Saturday night after work, all day Sunday until Monday morning. If he says he needs to work Sunday, tell him he needs to request it as an emergency in the family. And set all of the ground rules after he asks where your interests lie.

Here in Rio the shop girls get no more than 50% over the minimum wage plus a percentage of commissions over a certain floor minimum. Besides a nice discount on their store purchases.

Depending on the type of work performed in SP, the minimum salary varies between 690Reais and 755Reais. But depending on where is the job, some make a bit more.

I resent the suggestion that just because I am jerking off in a park that I am a moneyboy...well, I don't really resent it, but if someone mistook me for a moneyboy I would wonder how they could be driving.
