Pattayaland Soi 1 Bars

First, Gentleman's Club is now closed. There is a sign on the door for Rent or Sale. It was always a nice clean place for a drink.

 

Dream boys had about 35 guys last night. They had a nice mix of both gay boys, ladyboys and manly men. I was particularly attracted to one gun in his mid 20's with a bit of a punk look to him with a nice firm six pack. Drinks were:

Diet Coke - 110 baht

Beer - 140 baht

Whiskey - 150 baht

Off fee was 300 bath

The bathroom was clean and we didn't have any pushy waiters or mamasans trying to get to to take a boy off or buy drinks. Overall a good experience with some sexy guys.

 

Dynamite was a lot of fun as well. I had 3 or 4 sexy guys that I really found attractive and will go back for another visit. They had a great mix of guys and I found this the best of the 10 bars I visited since arriving in Pattaya but to each his own taste and what I like may not be what others enjoy.

The bathroom was clean and the place had ample room to sit and watch the boys. The mamasan was nice and helpful. I was about to take one boy off when an old favorite of mine walked in as a customer. He is not working in the bars but was there showing his uncle the places. I made arrangements to see him later. I will go back to Dynamite to see the other boys I liked. The mamasan I have known for a while and he was very familiar with the boys and what they will or will not do with customers. Overall, I found this place a great deal of fun.

 

I spent time in the other Soi's in this area but will try to make it to the rest of the bars in this area and update this week.

If you are entering this Soi on 2nd Road and headed toward beach road there are some gay massage places on the right hand side.

 

Past them on the right is Star Boyz. I have been a fan of Star Boyz since it was on the other side of 2nd Road. It was actually the first bar I think I went to in Pattaya as I stayed at Welcome Plaza Hotel for one full night before bolting out of the place. Star Boyz had a great guy that worked there and I went back to see him many times on my first trip. I assume this is the same owner or management but am not 100 percent certain. I do know that some of the manager and wait staff are the ones from the other Soi. Star Boyz had a nice selection of boys on stage. When we were there, the majority of them were actual gay boys and there were several lady boys in the group. There were many very sexy boys in the group and the music was not too loud to sit and chat and the music was nice. They did play a few old classics that I really enjoyed sitting and listening to. The bathroom was not clean but for a quick piss it was tolerable. Drinks were 130 baht for water, 150 bath for beer and 150 baht for whiskey.

 

Tai Boyz Boys is on the same side of the street. It had a very nice mix of boys working. They had some very handsome men and some sexy lady boys. The mix was nice for a group that have different tastes to find someone they would really enjoy. For me, I found Mr. Perfect. Well, I had seen him a few years back and taken him off a few times before some Falang swooped in and swept him off for several years buying him a store and helping him to have a nice life. Apparently, the relationship has ended and the boy is back to work. He is adorable and I saw him outside the bar smoking a cigarette and asked him if he was available. He said that he had already had a paid off for the night and couldn't go but would call me if I gave him my number. I did go inside and had a few drinks and watched him and the other boys. I didn't invite the boy to sit with me for a drink as he was expecting his customer and I didn't want to upset the flow of his night. After about 45 min the customer arrived and he sat with the guy. Drinks here were 130 baht for water and 150 for beer and whiskey. The bathroom was not one I would want to frequent. The stage was large enough to have many boys on it and was in the center of the bar and everyone in the bar should have a nice view of the boys. There were around 40 or so boys there when we arrived. There were several very sexy boys in this bar and I'll go back to off the one guy I like and perhaps another one that I had for a drink.

 

Sawadee is also on the same side of the Soi is Tai Boyz and Star Boyz. Sawadee had a nice reputation in Sunee Plaza and moved over to this Soi a few years ago. I know it was the same owner when I left but I don't know if ownership has changed. I didn't see the same mamasan that was there before but I'll go back and check that out more. They had many boys on stage and a selection of gay boys, men and ladyboys. There wasn't really anyone on stage that interested me but the mamasan did keep me entertained and seemed to be fun to play with. They have some sexy doormen that I enjoy talking to. Drinks prices were similar to the other bars in the Soi.

 

On the other side of the Soi with Dream Boyz and Dynamite is Lucky 777. This has been one of my favorite bars for years. It is not for everyone but I have always found some sexy boys there and had a good time. I enjoy the waiters in this bar and they always seem to have a nice selection of boys I like. Drinks were on par with the other bars but the Whisky seemed a bit less than the coke that was in the drink.

 

Kawaii is the new bar on this side of the Soi. I think this is in the same location as Four Seasons used to be but I am not 100 percent sure of this. I did talk in another thread of being in Chiang Mai and spending time at CU Bar and the owner there is the former owner of Four Seasons. Well, Kawaii is renovated and very pleasant. It is a small bar with only one shop house. The old mamasan from the old Thai boys is there as well as some others that I remembered. The place is done very well inside and I really liked several of the guys in the bar. They had a few more lady boys there when we were there and it was nice to see a good mix. The music was not too loud and the drinks were about the same as the other bars. The lighting was good and I could see all the boys on stage. I did see a few boys drop onto stage from a firehouse pole from the second floor. That was a first for me to see in Pattaya but enjoyable to see. The seating was comfortable and there was no pushy mamasan trying to get us to off a boy or two.

 

All in all I do this this Soi is a lot of fun. I took my boyfriend and another 2 friends that I have known for a while. They all are Thai and they enjoyed the number of lady boys in the bars in this area. Normally, when I ask them what bar they want to go to they always say this Soi as it has something for them to look at and some sexy guys for me to enjoy. The doormen outside on the street are fun to talk to and busy to try to get you inside their bar. The street is safe to park your motorbike and an easy commute on baht buses to get to the Soi and back again. It is a lot of traffic and I felt no safety issues at all. There are some lady bars on the same Soi and some restaurants and a 7-11.
