BiBottomBoy Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 What do you think of this? http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain/2013/01/24/star-trek-director-j-j-abrams-to-direct-star-wars-episode-vii/ Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 The only problem I have with it is that it will slow down more sequels to the Star Trek series because I suspect Disney will lock him up for all three Star Wars sequels first. And as usual, Paramount hasn't committed to future Star Trek movies yet. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 I can't imagine being responsible for keeping both Star Wars and Star Trek fans happy. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I think just as long as Spock doesn't show up on the Death Star, he'll be OK. Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Disappointing, to me. I would far rather have more Trek. (And less drek! Sorry to the faithful.) Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Personally I wanted Joss Weedon to direct the new Star Wars. Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Disney confirms that it is looking into spinning off Star Wars characters into their own movies, outside the upcoming trilogy. First up is reportedly Yoda. Quote
BiBottomBoy Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 One of those fuckers better be named "The Long Slow Painful Torturous Death Of Jar Jar Binks At The Hands Of A HybridHuman Hyena Army." AdamSmith 1 Quote
Guest EXPAT Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Isn't that the truth. Maybe Yoda will will him to explode. Or maybe a movie called "Death Star" will go and destroy their planet. Quote
Guest FourAces Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I just hope we don't get lost in all of the flashbacks brought on by the revolution Even worse we might find out that all of the SW characters having been living on a island with no power Quote
Guest NCBored Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I just hope we don't get lost in all of the flashbacks brought on by the revolution Even worse we might find out that all of the SW characters having been living on a island with no power Or that they were imprisoned on Alcatraz but mysteriously escaped!
