In my late 20's or early 30's, there was an agency in Atlanta that advertised in my local NC gay newspaper, and I hired from them a few times. They had trouble keeping escorts in my area, tho, and one night the owner called me & said he had a client in my town and no one available - and was I interested in taking an appointment? (I had never met the agency owner, so all he knew about me was what his escorts told him, In those days I was running daily, tho and actually felt that I looked better with my clothes OFF - [deep sigh]). I never needed money too badly when I was young and while not huge (like now) I was chubby so pretty self conscious. Plus as a few have mentioned I could not get into being with a older man. Because I loved sex so much, I figured I might as well get paid for it. However, it took only a short time on the job to realize that even for money I couldn't get it up for men that I didn't find attractive, and I wasn't getting enough traffic from men I did find attractive to make it worthwhile.
