Members citylaw1 Posted January 7, 2013 Members Posted January 7, 2013 Am I missing the spell check function? Quote
Members lookin Posted January 7, 2013 Members Posted January 7, 2013 As far as I can tell, the spell check function is built into your browser (or some other applications, like word processors) and not into the site itself. I'm using Safari 5.1.7 on a Mac, and it has a spell check function built in. That said, it's necessary to turn it on, which is an option under the 'Edit' menu. Also, Mac OS X has system-wide spell checking. Wonder what would happin if I negglekted to turn it on? citylaw1 and TotallyOz 2 Quote
AdamSmith Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 The spell checker on my iPhone is a great boon. Sometimes it translates my thoughts into Esperanto, other times into Borat-speak. TotallyOz 1 Quote

TotallyOz Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 My sepll checkker works good too. It is part of your browser and should not have changed with the upgrade of the site. What browser are you using and I'll do so research. Quote

Guest gcursor Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 My iPad automatically spell-cheks everrything I type in and if I tiped somethin wrong then it gives me a red underliine. Of course, for the first year that I oned my iPad, I thought everyting it was underlining with red was words that iPad realy liked and it was underlining tham for emphais. I do kind of hate it though because it is so arbitrary it seems in the spell-check and auto-correct function and it's gotten much worse with that last update. Now when I type in the city, "Detroit", it auto-corrects to "Hell hole" :/ Quote
