Gaybutton Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Now that Fidel Castro has finally resigned, it will be very interesting to see what ends up happening with Cuba and if a really good gay scene develops there. Having never been to Cuba, for all I know a good gay scene already exists. I have no idea. I hope those of you who may have visited Cuba can tell us about an existing gay scene and those of you who will be going will also let us know the story there. Those of you who are interested might want to visit the following web site: http://www.globalgayz.com/g-cuba2.html Quote

Having never been to Cuba, for all I know a good gay scene already exists. I have no idea. I hope those of you who may have visited Cuba can tell us about an existing gay scene and those of you who will be going will also let us know the story there. Those of you who are interested might want to visit the following web site: http://www.globalgayz.com/g-cuba2.html Cuba is one of the most interesting places Ive ever been to. Yes, a gay scene exists but is not oriented around bars and such. You will meet locals and they will introduce you to the in home party circuit and to other friends. The Cuban gay scene is discreet and nothing like the wide open lifestyle you have in Pattaya. That is not to say you cannot move about and have a great time. Havana is much safer than Pattaya with very little serious crime. You will find any body type and shade of color you heart desires. Going rate is $ 20. You cannot take them to a Hotel but they have a network of friends that will assist with a private place to have fun and relax. The music and home cooking is wonderfull, the govenment restaurants are simply horrid and expensive. You will not find Mcdonalds or any type advertisments for corporations which means the country is not cluttered with signs that cover the wonderful views of people and places. One can find things to complain about but in general I found Cuba and its people to be vibrant and fun. Yes the system they live in is not perfect and has many flaws but they are highly educated and very aware of events around the world. I could go on and on but realize space is limited. As for globalgayz take on the place I disagree. He spent a period of five days in Cuba but infers he has this indepth take on things. Nonsense. If you would like to PM me or email me about Cuba please do. I would like to add that gaybuttons advise on LOS was very helpful for my first visit to Pattaya. Best regards, G Quote
Guest GaySacGuy Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 As you are probably aware, US ciitizens cannot legally travel to Cuba thanks to our fine government. However, several years ago some friends went there via Mexico. When they arrived in Cuba, immigration put a sticker in their passport. When they left, immigration took the sticker off...Thus no sign on your passport that you were ever in Cuba. Also, take cash. No ATM. They want greenback US dollars!! Quote
Guest Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 I have friends that have visited there for years and say it is amazing and love it. The men are hot and the sex is great. US citizens can travel via Mexico or Canada. My friends stay at a boarding house as most of the hotels will not let you have Cuban nationals in the room. Quote
