Rightly or wrongly, Thailand has gotten a reputation as being a Mecca for underage sexual activity. While it is true that you can purchase guys of nearly any age in Thailand from sleazy pimps, you should avoid doing so at all costs.

In the wake of increased international pressure, Thailand has started cracking down on the child sex industry. If you get caught you will get arrested and your government will not want to help you. Even worse, your name and address may become public which means you could ruin your career and your relationship with your family and friends.

Even worse, the United States has now started enforcing laws against United States citizens traveling abroad to have sex wit minors. That means that even if you don't get in trouble in Thailand, you might get arrested when you step off the plane in America.

Thailand had hundreds of thousands of guys that you can rent for the evening. Many look young and if you need to live out a sex fantasy, please do so with an 18 year old guy who has an ID that says 18. Don't be a fool and go to jail for dipping under this age!

We want you to be able to keep coming back to Thailand. We also want you to stay out of prison. We assure you that Thai prison is not like that of most civilized countries and 15 years in jail here could be a death sentence.

On my first few trips to Pattaya in the late 80's, pederasts had their own beach in Jomtien, right near the gay beach. At first I thought it was a family beach with the young kids, but one day I walked by and saw a boy of about 7 sitting on an older man's lap, asking him if he wanted to fuck him. I was scandalized!

Another time, sitting on the beach in Pattaya while it was too early for dinner, some young boys were playing soccer. I saw that one boy had a t-shirt on that said USA. So, when he came near me, I said "hey USA!" Immediately all the boys surrounded me, while the USA boy stood demurely in the center of the circle. He was about 8. The boys asked me "You want him? You want him for sex" You take him to your bungalow?" I got out of there so fast you would never have thought I could move like that.

In later visits, all of this was seemingly gone.

I have seen way too many younger lads in the bars and clubs that were working. But, I do see this is changing a great deal and now there are very few bars that carry underage. Pattaya is the city known for this but that has changed in the last 5 years. There are 2 areas of Pattaya and one area is it very rare if ever to find someone under 18 in the bar. The other area, Sunee Plaza, you must be careful and check ID as there are several 17 year olds. Many Thai's start their age with birth so 18 to us is 17 to them as it is their 18th year. Hard to explain but I always find best to check ID's.
