December 7, 201213 yr I have been lucky enough to see several of his buildings in Brazil over the years and was always taken by them. He was Brazil's most famous architect. He died today at the age of 104. He will be missed. December 8, 201213 yr Active Members Even if he only designed the city of Brasilia, he would be in the front ranks of architects. I am still not sure building a new city in the middle of nowhere was a good idea. But, I was overwhelmed by the sights when I visited Brasilia about a decade ago.
