AdamSmith Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Just stumbled over this delightful treasure trove of a site... http://artofmanliness.com/ ...both contemporary and historical stuff, from '50s business etiquette to way-back times. Pretty witty in places. May waste the rest of today prowling around there. JKane 1 Quote
Members JKane Posted November 15, 2012 Members Posted November 15, 2012 Found a pretty good sub-reddit for discussing such things (and much more) among gay guys: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaybros/ If you're looking for a way to kill many, many hours, Reddit is your answer! Quote

Members Lucky Posted November 17, 2012 Members Posted November 17, 2012 I didn't want to say it at first, but now that fewer people are looking at the thread, I can tell my story and not look boastful. Over the past 30 years, The Art of Manliness has asked me to be both their spokesman, and, at many other times to pose for a centerfold and accompanying article calling me the epitome of manliness. Well, I just didn't want the attention; a real man, you know, doesn't seek it. So, after several years of virtually bombarding me with offers, I had to go to court to get a restraining order, keeping them away. I didn't feel very manly doing that. (This story has no basis in reality.) Quote
