Guest lurkerspeaks Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 I was just back from grocery shopping. I was getting some ice cream and saw Bluebell on sale. It always reminds me of growing up in Texas. Then I saw that they had Black Walnut ice cream. It was my mother's favorite. Mom and I shared a birthday (Nov 15). She passed away in 2005. For no reason at all, I got all teary eyed, just from the Black Walnut icecream. Funny how the smallest of things can bring back memories. Appreciate the loved ones around you. Don't take them for granted because one day you will wake up and they won't be there anymore. That's all. Have to go dry my eyes now.
