The 22-year-old Gruber, who's currently at work on a tell-all book to be titled "Obsession: My Life With Calvin Klein," tells Page Six Magazine that he was the first man that Klein -- who, until their meeting, had been leading an ostensibly heterosexual public life -- ever fell for. "I don’t know why, but there’s, like, something about me that attracts everyone," Gruber, who reportedly split with Klein earlier this year, tells the magazine. "I have a nickname called Romeo. I get every girl, and even guys. Something about me draws them all in.” Among the more interesting bits of the interview is when Gruber describes taking Klein, who is 48 years his senior, to have his very first Big Mac. "He asked if they had it medium rare," he recalls. "He took a bite, and he was like, 'Ugh, what's this?' I'll never forget that story: medium rare for a Big Mac at McDonald's." He also describes an incident in which Klein, who suspected Gruber had cheated, forced him to take a lie detector test: "And then, you know, things were much better. But I mean, what kind of partner would make you take a lie detector test?” The magazine's Kirsten Fleming also talks to John Luciano, Gruber's 48-year-old current squeeze and grand-nephew of famed mobster Lucky Luciano. IMO he is just another young opportunist that took advantage of a situation he was Allowed to take. So many of these stories, happens all the time with the Heteros. In fact a new show called "trophy Wives" will debut soon about young women with too much hair and too much makeup, but big fake boobs and Botox who are allowed to feed off the rich older gentlemen that married them and made them "legit"... I was once snorkeling in Mexico and lost track of time I was so entralled. I ended up with a second degree sun burn! Blisters all over my skin. In the docs, Nick says he and Nora have been living together for two months -- they share the same entertainment manager -- but things have taken a turn for the worse. Specifically Nick claims Nora is "psychotic" ... drinks heavily ... stole his $10,000 Rolex ... threatened to sic her mob connections on him -- and threatened to kill Nick herself with a screwdriver. There is something missing in the story of the supposed part-time lover of Calvin Klein who is in process of writing a "tell all" book of the relationship, as he saw it (or wanted it to be). I, as someone who visits Brazil rather often (and have done so for years), have seen, many times, Calvin Klein at Clube 117 in Rio and at Sauna Lagoa in Sao Paulo. Each time (as far as I observed) Calvin Klein enlisted and continues to enlist the services of various garotos in the saunas. Moreover, Calvin Klein owns a condo in Rio where he entertains some of his new found friends. Given the above facts, if the claims by the "lover" are true and that Mr. Klein was jealous, why did Calvin Klein continue to visit the saunas and other areas of Brazil where garotos are available and plentiful? Why did Klein have countless relationships with different young men, Brazilian and otherwise? By the way, I have never seen Calvin Klein at Meio Mundo. Maybe that place is not fancy enough for him. Bottom line - it seems obvious that the "scorned lover" of Calvin Klein wants to make money writing a book about his relationship with Klein, so much as it was. Like the guy Thorsen (who wrote the book about Liberace), I suspect that the sale of books will not make him rich because not many are interested in buying a book about Klein and his namorados. Logic has nothing to do with the facts. The young guy is no longer a temporary “love” interest to Klein. The young guy is disappointed at being dropped by Klein. In retaliation, the young guy is writing a “tell-all” book about the supposed relationship. Accusing Klein of being jealous is just one more bit of gossip that may or may not be true. My point is that the book will probably not be a money maker for the abandoned guy. Few readers, if any, care about the countless relationships Klein has had over the years, including the latest book writer. Jealousy can be affected by either party, or both.
