Even I could tell this was a bad call and I really couldn't care less. . .

So many things wrong with this call Putting aside the missed interference call right before the pass ... the white ref got there a few nano seconds before the black ref .... they looked right into each others eyes then simultaneously made two different calls

As seen in the pic above the white ref called the catch for Seattle thus giving them a game winning touchdown with no time left. While the black ref called it a interception and attempts to stop the clock, though there is no time left.

For those not following these are replacement officials. The real guys who only get paid for part time work during the season are in talks with the league. Kind of a strike I guess you might call it.

Anyway it was pretty clear that the black ref was correct as to the interception. However, what made this even more sick is the play was reviewed by the booth. The booth officials are the regular officials and yet they did not over turn the touchdown call.

As EXPAT notes it might be the worst play call ever in the history of the NFL. If not the worse in the top 3!

And there was more hijinx after the end of the video. NFL rules are a point after touchdown MUST be attempted .. so after another 5 or 7 minutes of trying to figure this out (note the Packers were in the locker room) 11 Packers came back out to stand at the line so Seattle could kick the extra point. They did not have to come out ... they were not happy ... but it was a classy thing for them to do.

At Mitt's urgent request, the regular refs will be back this Sunday, according to informed sources in Romney's entourage.

Polling data is showing a drift to Democrats by white working class Midwestern swing state voters appalled at the spectacle of plutocrats mucking up their beloved sporting events.

With the exception of Jerry Jones, the billionaires have agreed to refrain from collectively 'rubbing folks nose in it' until after November 6. Jerry is reliably reported to be thoroughly pissed at the political pressure stating that "Anybody that didn't like the way I run my team should just buy their own."

It appears that the NFL has reached an agreement with the refs and they will return to work this weekend.
