I am sending this as general message to all the guys I have met and become friends with on here that I will be leaving the board, not out of anything wrong, but realizing that I have gotten into a routine of checking this site out everyday morning and night and I realize I have fallen into a rut! J Instead of checking CNN or Google News or Yahoo business I am checking our MER first in the morning! LOL I need to change things up and set different priorities. Business is good and I have quite a few travel plans set up but I need to expand my participation in other areas of my life.

I think the audience is limited for my posts and I have written about everything a person can about the escort/sauna scene in Brazil and to a lesser extent Prague and So.Florida. ( I am heading off next week back to Brazil and in October to So.Fla with Townsend).

The same ½ dozen or so posters end up replying to most of my posts, so I think the attraction to read the same things over and over has worn off for most members of this forum and I understand that.

I think OZ and TY have done a great job of providing a site that is welcoming to all and able to keep the drama to a minimum! I wish everyone well and fun times and Happy HOing in whatever city you may be in!

I have no clue what Marc said but I think I agree I hope that this is not adios but maybe a well needed hiatus. Your posts have fascinated me and your personal notes have been beyond gracious. So I will not say I am gonna miss you or goodbye ... simply I will say I look forward to seeing you here again and maybe in person one day. Travel safe and enjoy!

I didn't know we were supposed to reply to all or most posts, really hard when such post is about a town that you haven't visited in a while, if ever.

When I was aware you were traveling I would check the site in a hourly basis knowing your posts would be full of useful information and clever insights about boys, sex and curiosities about places we all long to be, not mentioning the tentalizing pictures. Gay travel loses one of their most distinctive and visceral chroniclers and MER loses most of it's appeal. Please reconsider.

I have been in contact with Tomcal. I told him how many people commented on his farewell and how much he will be missed. (He has not logged onto the board since his post was made). He promised me that it will be a hiatus and not a final farewell..

So, we do have something to look forward to afterall.
