TotallyOz Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I have a friend in Thailand who wants to meet up with me in Rio. Thais can go to Brazil with no problem. I was looking for a cheap flight and was not too successful. Most seemed to hoover around the 2300 USD mark with Air France the cheapest for the dates I plugged in. Anyone have suggestions on how to get this to a more reasonable price, say around 1300? Thanks. Quote
Guest YardenUK Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Have a look at Emirates from Bangkok to Sao Paulo via Dubai (I dont think they fly to Rio) - depending on dates it looks like it comes in at around 45000 Baht which isnt that bad for such a long journey....... Quote

Should be able to get roundtrip BKK to RIO ticket for 60,000 miles for coach economy ticket on KLM/NW for example...if you have miles earned in Skyteam Alliance airline partners. Other airline alliances should have same roundtrip ticket for 60,000 miles. Hope this helps, TJ Quote
